STAMM XIX, Poitiers, September 3-6, 2014
The XIX Symposium on Trend in Applications of Mathematics to Mechanics
(STAMM) has been held in Poitiers, and has been attended by more than
60 participants, see
http://www-math.sp2mi.univ-poitiers.fr/STAMM2014/en/
The scientific program included invited and contributed talks,
and the lectures of Constantin Dafermos
(as the awardee of the ISIMM prize 2014)
and of Elisabetta Rocca and Stefan Neukamm
(as two awardees ex-aequo of the junior ISIMM prize 2014).
An account of these three conferences will soon appear in the ISIMM
forum. Slides of most of the talks are available here and
the proceedings of the symposium are also under preparation.
On the occasion of the STAMM the Executive Committee met,
and we had a plenary assembly of the society open to all participants.

Scientific program
The program of the workshop consists of invited lectures, short communications, and posters. It will be made available on the web at due time. Consistently with the aims of ISIMM, mathematical modelling will be at the focus. The formulation and analysis of problems issued from physics, engineering and other disciplines will be welcome. We encourage participants to submit abstracts. A (necessarily restricted) number of 15' communications will be selected among all submitted abstracts.
Registration
As there is a restriction on the number of participants, we invite you to register by May 31, 2008. The selection will be made by registration date only. Accepted participants will be notified by e-mail by June 15, 2008. Please note that a registration fee of 100.00 Euro is foreseen.
